Laura Whitfield, who is 1.26m tall, and her husband, Nathan Phillips, who is 1.2m tall, both live in Sunderland, England. They met while playing dwarfs in the play "Snow White" in 2012. |

Their wedding took place last month in a lavish ceremony, costing £6,000 (nearly $8,000), in front of friends and family. |
 |
In 2013, Laura was the one who proposed after learning Nathan was planning to ask her out. "He was surprised but it was nice to do something different," she said. |

The "dwarf" couple's wedding also had a special presence, their son Nathan Junior. Just a month after the proposal, Laura learned she was pregnant. Despite doctors advising abortion because Laura had some health complications during the pregnancy, she and Nathan decided to keep the baby. "I was determined to see how far we could go with little Nathan and we fell in love with him from the first ultrasound," she said. |

Baby Nathan Junior was born with both parents' forms of dwarfism, and was expected to live only a few hours. However, two and a half years later, he is still healthy and became the ring bearer for the bride and groom at his parents' party. |

Laura walked her son down the aisle in a custom-made wedding dress worth more than $1,000. "We waited a long time for Nathan to be old enough to bring us the ring," she said. |

Laura, 26, has starred in several films, including the Harry Potter series. "It's been amazing how this fairy tale has started in our lives. Now we're married and the wedding was magical," she said. |
 |
The couple say they are just like everyone else, the only difference being their height, and their wedding was a testament to their strong inner beliefs. "We had the best day of our lives," Laura said. |
