Villagers capture a wild boar weighing nearly 100 kg that gored a man in the stomach and bit off his finger.
(Baonghean.vn) - Mr. Vi Van Nhan, 63 years old, from Pha Pat village, Cam Muon commune (Que Phong district), was hospitalized with multiple injuries after being gored and bitten by a wild boar.
Mr. Lu Van Coi, a local resident who directly witnessed and captured the 99kg wild boar, said: “Around 5 PM on November 3rd, while working in the fields, people in Pha Pat village spotted a very large wild boar. Upon seeing people, the boar panicked and attacked the group, seriously injuring Mr. Vi Van Nhan.”
After attacking the group of people, the huge wild boar ran away. Around 11 PM on November 3rd, the villagers of Pha Pat managed to herd the boar down to the Quang River and then used nets and traps to capture it.

Mr. Vi Van Nhan was taken to the Que Phong District Medical Center for treatment with injuries to his abdomen, thigh, and a severed finger on his left hand. "I've lived almost my whole life, but this is the first time I've seen such a huge wild boar appear in my village," said Mr. Vi Van Nhan.
Previously, upon discovering this wild boar damaging the crops in the farming area, Mr. Nhan and the villagers chased it away to prevent it from destroying the plants and posing a danger to the people.
