The bride was meticulously made up. Lam Khanh Chi, whose real name is Huynh Phuong Khanh, was born in 1977 in Ho Chi Minh City. She was a popular singer in the 1990s under the stage name Lam Chi Khanh. After two live shows, Chi Khanh "disappeared" from the entertainment industry. In 2012, the singer admitted to having undergone gender reassignment surgery and adopted the stage name Lam Chi Khanh. In early 2016, she changed her stage name to Lam Khanh Chi.
