Leading but Man Utd still had to share points because of Fellaini

Manchester United continued their inconsistent run in the Premier League after a 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park.

Coach Jose Mourinho and midfielder Paul Pogba returned after a one-match suspension. Meanwhile, new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan continued to have his first official match when replacing Juan Mata on the right wing, pushing the Spanish midfielder to the bench.

The Red Devils started the match cautiously at Goodison Park. Both Everton and MU fought fiercely in the opening minutes. However, in reality, the home team had more dangerous opportunities. Unfortunately, the final shots were quite inaccurate.

Meanwhile, MU continued to play lurking, looking for counter-attack opportunities. Marcos Rojo was almost sent off for a two-footed tackle on Gueye. Luckily, the Argentine only received a yellow card. Both teams played quite fiercely.

The turning point of the match came in the 89th minute when Fellaini fouled an Everton player in the penalty area. The referee immediately awarded the home team a penalty kick. Leighton Baines equalized for Everton.

In the remaining minutes, the away team tried very hard but could not overcome the solid blue wall and had to accept a draw at Goodison Park.
