While walking down the street, two young men were brutally chased and attacked.
(Baonghean.vn) - Seeing Huy and Khánh walking on the road, due to a previous conflict, Trần Văn Hải (residing in Phúc Thọ commune, Nghi Lộc district) rushed in, punched and kicked them, then chased after them, causing the two young men to be hospitalized.
The serious incident occurred at 11:00 AM on November 2nd in Nghi Xuan commune (Nghi Loc district). At that time, Le Van Huy, residing in Phuc Tho commune, Nghi Loc district, and Nguyen Van Khanh, residing in Nghi Thai commune, Nghi Loc district (both 17 years old), were on their way home after going out.
Upon arriving at the area in front of Nghi Loc 3 High School in Nghi Xuan commune, they encountered Tran Van Hai (residing in Phuc Tho commune, Nghi Loc district). Still resentful from a previous minor conflict with Khanh, Hai lunged at him, punching and kicking him repeatedly.

Seeing Hai aggressively attacking someone, many people living nearby tried to intervene. Refusing to give up, the suspect then rushed into a nearby barbershop, grabbed a pair of scissors, and intended to return to stab Khanh.
Terrified, Khanh ran away. Hai continued to chase him and stabbed him fatally in the side, causing him to collapse to the ground. Not giving up, the assailant brandished the scissors again, threatening to stab him further.
Seeing his friend stabbed to death, Huy ran to intervene, hugged Hai, and snatched the scissors from Hai's hand. Seeing this, Hai grabbed an iron pipe and chased after Huy. After running a short distance, Hai caught up with Huy, struck him hard on the head, and Huy also collapsed to the ground unconscious.
After committing the crime, Hai quickly fled the scene. Huy and Khanh were taken to Military Hospital 4 by local residents for emergency treatment. Due to the severity of the stab wound to his side, Khanh was transferred to Nghe An Provincial General Hospital.
After receiving prompt medical intervention to treat pleural effusion and internal bleeding, Khanh is now out of critical condition. However, Huy's entire face is disfigured. Doctors say Huy suffered a fractured skull and brain injury.
Reportedly, about a week before this serious incident, Hai had chased and attacked Khanh with a knife due to a minor disagreement. Khanh's family had to call the police for intervention.
Major Nguyen Thanh Nhan, Deputy Head of Nghi Loc Police, said that the perpetrator has been identified as Tran Van Hai and they are currently pursuing his arrest, while also urging his family to persuade him to surrender.
