During a cultural exchange event, a young man was stabbed in the intestine.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of February 7th, the Quỳnh Lưu District Police announced that they are investigating a case in which a group of individuals used weapons to stab and slash a young man from the same commune.This resulted in one victim suffering a perforated intestine.
The incident occurred at approximately 10 PM on February 5, 2017, at the community center of Hamlet 14, Quynh Van Commune, Quynh Luu District. According to witnesses, during a New Year's celebration, young people from the hamlet were having a cultural exchange in the courtyard of the community center when a group of individuals from the same commune, armed with weapons, suddenly stormed in and started a fight.

The group used knives to stab indiscriminately into the crowd, injuring four young men from Hamlet 14, the most seriously injured being Nguyen Dinh Hao (born in 1994), who suffered a punctured intestine.
Upon receiving the report, the Quỳnh Lưu District Police and Quỳnh Văn Commune Police quickly arrived at the scene, apprehended the suspects, and coordinated with the families to take the victims to the hospital for emergency treatment.
According to Dr. Pham Thang Loi, Deputy Head of the Surgery Department at Quynh Luu District General Hospital, patient Hao was admitted with multiple abdominal injuries, including four stab wounds. Two of these were severe, penetrating the peritoneum, with the peritoneum and intestines protruding, requiring emergency surgery.

Two days after surgery, Mr. Hao's health is now out of critical condition, his spirits are stable, and his wounds have healed. The other three victims only suffered minor injuries and were discharged from the hospital after receiving first aid.
The Quỳnh Lưu District Police announced that they have summoned nine individuals for questioning. Subsequently, one individual was placed under criminal detention and two others under administrative detention to continue the investigation and clarify the case.
