While studying at university, the girl took a bus home to attend her grandmother's funeral when the accident occurred.
(Baonghean.vn) - Upon hearing the news of his grandmother's death, Nguyen Tat Nga, a university student, immediately took a bus from Hanoi back to his hometown of Do Luong (Nghe An) to attend the funeral. Tragically, the bus overturned, and Nga died along with four other victims.
On the afternoon of June 14th, the leaders of Tan Son commune People's Committee, Do Luong district, announced that one victim of the bus accident in Ninh Binh City was Nguyen Tat Nga, residing in Hamlet 6, from their commune.

Earlier, upon hearing from her family that her grandmother, Nguyen Thi Tan, 112 years old – a Vietnamese Heroic Mother – had passed away, Nga took a bus home to attend her grandmother's funeral. Unfortunately, when the bus reached the intersection of National Highway 1A (in Nam Thanh Ward, Ninh Binh City), it collided with a motorbike (license plate 35H3-9850) and overturned on the road. The accident resulted in the deaths of Nguyen Tat Nga and three other victims, and injured many others. Among the four deceased victims, three were from the same hometown in Do Luong.

The leaders of Tan Son commune People's Committee also stated that on the afternoon of June 14th, the local authorities and family held a funeral ceremony for the heroic Vietnamese mother Nguyen Thi Tan. As for the body of Nguyen Tat Nga, the cremation process is underway in Ninh Binh, after which the ashes will be brought back to his hometown for burial. Nga was the youngest of five siblings and was a second-year student at FPT University.
