This comeback marks the singer's return to music after years of battling an ear ailment. Cheering on Dang Khoi at the show, his mother sent a message to her son participating in the program:
"Khoi, it's Mom. I know singing is your lifelong passion, but you've put it aside for so long to take care of the family. Thank you for always being there and encouraging me. I haven't seen you on stage for the past 10 years, so this time, try your best! The whole family is always supporting you."
Dang Khoi couldn't hide his emotions either, sharing on his personal page about his more than 10-year journey battling cancer alongside his two mothers and his mother-in-law:
"Over 10 years have passed, and the days spent accompanying my two mothers through their battle with cancer have truly tested my strength and patience. I have witnessed their resilience, their gradual overcoming of pain, and I feel their unwavering determination more clearly than ever before."
Both mothers fought, enduring the pain of illness, yet always showering their family with love and care. Those moments are etched in Khoi's mind, forming the foundation for his resilience and determination to this day. "Mother Hang, Mother Hoa, today I stand here, on this stage… just as you dreamed."
Speaking about his return to singing after 10 years, Dang Khoi confided:Every melody, every lyric still resonates in Khoi's heart, like a smoldering fire waiting to burst into flames again. Khoi knows that the road back will not be easy, but with all his love and effort, he believes this journey will be meaningful, not only to conquer new challenges but also to express his gratitude to those who have always loved and supported him.”
Notably, Dang Khoi rarely mentions the ear ailment that once forced him to leave singing:"Along this journey, Khoi himself has not been able to avoid harsh obstacles. An ear disease forced Khoi to stop singing, temporarily leaving behind the greatest passion of his life."
