(Baonghean.vn) - Hired to transport nearly 100kg of firecrackers to Vinh City for 10 million VND, Tuan invited Hoa to join him but was arrested by the police.
On January 3, the Thanh Chuong District Police Department announced that it had successfully broken up Project 219P, arresting two subjects Hoang Van Tuan (born in 1974), residing in Hamlet 2, Tao Son Commune (Anh Son) and Le Thi Hoa (born in 1981), residing in Suong XNC Hanh Lam Hamlet, Thanh Duc Commune (Thanh Chuong) for transporting prohibited goods, and confiscating nearly 100 kg of firecrackers.

At about 7:30 p.m. on January 2, on route N5 in Thai Son commune (Do Luong), the Special Task Force (Thanh Chuong District Police) coordinated with Road Traffic Police Team No. 2, Traffic Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police to stop and check a car with the Mazda CX5 license plate 37A-405.10.
The authorities coordinated, closed the siege, controlled and successfully arrested two subjects, Hoang Van Tuan and Le Thi Hoa. The seized evidence was a block of 36 firecrackers, with a total weight of nearly 100 kg.

At the police station, the two suspects confessed that they had been doing business in Laos and were acquainted with some powerful people. Over the phone, a Lao man (unknown background and address) hired Tuan to transport the above firecrackers from Anh Son district to Vinh city.
If the mission was successful, Tuan would be paid 10 million VND. Tuan accepted and invited Le Thi Hoa (because Hoa had a car) to help transport the fireworks.
The case is currently under further investigation.
