This is the second time the two teams have met in this year's tournament. In the U13 group stage match, Nghe An drew with the team from Hanoi. This match was merely a formality for Coach Dang Van Tuong's team, so the result doesn't accurately reflect the true strength of the two sides.

Completely different from the previous match, right from the opening whistle, U13 SLNA had significantly more possession than their opponents. Their diverse attacking style created numerous scoring opportunities for Coach Dang Van Tuong's team.

Less than 10 minutes into the match, Van Hieu opened the scoring for U13 SLNA. Following a poor clearance by a Hanoi player, the ball landed under the control of the number 9 player from Nghe An province. He quickly headed the ball past the opposing goalkeeper.

After scoring, U13 SLNA maintained their dominance, creating numerous dangerous opportunities against the Hanoi team's goal. In the 20th minute, Van Hieu's solo run from midfield bypassed several U13 Hanoi defenders before he coolly struck the ball past the opposing goalkeeper. This was also the striker's second goal for SLNA in the first half.

In the second half, despite U13 Hanoi's efforts to score a goal to narrow the gap, captain Bao Nam and his teammates prevented the capital city team from turning the tide.

In the end, SLNA won with a score of 2-0, and officially clinched the Gold Cup of the 2022 National U13 Football Tournament.
