Famous singer Ngoc Son was accused by his adopted son Duy Cuong of being difficult.

Ngoc Son was the most anticipated guest in Duy Cuong's adopted son's live show "Motherhood" in Hanoi on the evening of September 22. Both performed the song "My Idol" which "caused a storm" in the finale of Bolero Idol. Ngoc Son composed the song specifically for his adopted son.

Duy Cuong confessed that his adoptive father was the one who greatly influenced his singing career. He did not hesitate to accuse his father of being very strict, forcing him to learn each word one by one, and if he could not do a song, he would be considered a failure.

Bolero Idol's biological mother was also present at the live show and burst into tears when witnessing her son receiving so much love from the audience. Duy Cuong grew up in a poor family, used to pick up sweet potatoes to eat instead of meals. When he was in first grade, his father had an accident and had to amputate a leg, the financial burden fell on his mother's shoulders. Duy Cuong's live show "Motherly Love" is the gift he gave to his mother.

Duy Cuong calls artist Giao Linh "mother". She is the one who taught the male singer a lot about his career. During the concert, the two sang a sweet duet of the song "Mother's Heart".

Duy Cuong is currently a lecturer at the Hanoi University of Social Sciences and Humanities. He is determined to continue his teaching career and only accepts singing gigs when he has free time. On the evening of September 22, he was very happy because the first live show in his career sold out a few days ago, even though VIP tickets cost 5 million VND.

The Hanoi Friendship Cultural Palace was packed. The audience loved Duy Cuong's voice from the Bolero Idol contest.
