Lynk & Co 08 Holo Review: A PHEV SUV priced at 1.389 billion VND
The Lynk & Co 08 Holo uses a plug-in hybrid 1.5L turbo engine + P3 motor, producing 376 horsepower; a 39.8 kWh NCM battery with fast charging (30–80% in 28 minutes); 21-inch wheels; and a 23-speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
The Lynk & Co 08 has officially launched in the Vietnamese market with a plug-in hybrid configuration, positioning itself in the D-segment SUV category. The top-of-the-line Holo version boasts a claimed power output of 376 horsepower and 615 Nm of torque, with a 39.8 kWh NCM battery supporting fast charging (30–80% in 28 minutes). Priced at VND 1.389 billion (the Pro version is VND 1.299 billion), the 08 places it in the technologically advanced segment, directly competing with popular D-SUV models currently on the market.
In this article, we focus on the Holo version – the configuration featured in the promotional images in Vietnam – to highlight its strengths in design, equipment, and PHEV powertrain.

The design language is strongly influenced by the brand.
The Lynk & Co 08's design retains the brand's distinctive features: a shark fin-shaped embossed hood, inverted Y-shaped daytime running lights positioned high on the hood extending almost to the windshield, combined with sharply edgy LED headlights creating a striking appearance.

The rearview mirror assembly is separated from a black trim strip extending from the A-pillar, accompanied by vertically placed brand lettering for a distinctive touch. The body features embossed lines running along its length, hidden door handles, and the military green paint scheme on the display vehicle gives it a modern feel.

The rear of the car tapers sharply at the bumper, with a long LED light strip extending to the sides, and slim taillights positioned close to the edge of the trunk lid. The Holo version comes with 21-inch wheels; the Pro version uses 19-inch wheels.

Cabin focuses on digital experience.
Inside, the Lynk & Co 08 features leather upholstery throughout. The driver's seat is 8-way power adjustable with memory function. The center console houses a 15.4-inch infotainment screen with integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; behind the oval-shaped three-spoke steering wheel is a 12.3-inch LCD digital instrument cluster.

The panoramic sunroof expands the space, while the keyless entry system with remote start allows for convenient pre-departure operation. The 23-speaker Harman Kardon sound system is a notable highlight; users can adjust the sound direction and tone directly on the center console or via buttons on the steering wheel.

PHEV powertrain and claimed performance
The Lynk & Co 08 uses a plug-in hybrid system combining a 1.5L turbocharged gasoline engine and a P3 electric motor. According to published information, the total power output reaches 376 horsepower, with a maximum torque of 615 Nm. The energy management system prioritizes the allocation of electricity/gasoline depending on operating conditions to balance performance and consumption.
The 39.8 kWh NCM battery, located under the floor, supports fast charging from 30% to 80% in 28 minutes. The manufacturer does not provide further acceleration figures or pure electric range in the product brochure for Vietnam.

Safety and supporting technology
The vehicle is equipped with LED lighting, common entertainment connectivity options, and remote keyless entry as mentioned. Details regarding the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) package, the number of airbags, or international standard safety ratings have not been disclosed by the manufacturer in the aforementioned product description.
Pricing, positioning, and competitors
