On September 12, the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc of Hoa Binh and the Inspection Committee of the Kim Boi District Party Committee (Hoa Binh Province) said that they have recently requested grassroots party committees to direct and guide subordinate party cells where party members whose children had their scores raised in the 2018 National High School Exam, to carry out the disciplinary process and report the results.
Accordingly, 19 cadres and party members were disciplined by reprimand. Of which, the grassroots party committees reported the results of disciplinary action against 15 party members; the Kim Boi District Party Committee's Inspection Committee disciplined 4 cadres and party members whose children had their scores raised in the 2018 National High School Exam, at the Hoa Binh Provincial Examination Council.

19 cadres and party members whose children had their test scores raised and used illegally raised scores to apply for admission to regular universities and colleges violated Clause 8, Article 3, Regulation 08 dated October 25, 2018 of the Central Executive Committee regulating the exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members; the violation was serious enough to require consideration and disciplinary action, as stipulated in Point a, Clause 1, Article 30, Regulation No. 102 dated November 15, 2017 of the Politburo on handling violating party members.
The list of disciplined party members includes: Cu Viet Hung - Party Cell Secretary, Head of Finance, Administration and Career Department, Party Committee of the Provincial Department of Finance; Dinh The Duc - Deputy Party Cell Secretary, Deputy Director of the Provincial Social Work Center, Party Committee of the Provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs; Dinh Thi Thin - Party Cell member of the Information Technology Center, Party Committee of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Giang Thi Hien - Party Committee member, Secretary of the Administration - Accounting Party Cell, Party Committee of the College of Economics and Technology; Luong Viet Hung - Party Cell member of the Organization and Personnel Department, Party Committee of the Department of Education and Training; Nguyen Thi Lan Huong - Party Committee member, Secretary of the Transport, Vehicle and Driver Management Department, Party Committee of the Department of Transport; Nguyen Thi Thu Ha - Party Cell member, Party Cell of the Tan Lac District Tax Department, Party Committee of the Tax Department; Nguyen Thi Van - Party Cell member of the Finance Party Cell, Party Committee of the Provincial State Treasury; Nguyen Truong Thanh - Party member of Tax Inspection Team No. 2, Party Committee of the Tax Department; Nguyen Van Truong - Party member of the Party Cell of the Department of Transport, Vehicles and Drivers Management, Party Committee of the Department of Transport; Tran Thi Phuong Thuy - Party member of the Inspection Party Cell, Provincial Social Insurance Party Committee; Tran Thuong Hung - Party member of the Office Party Cell, Party Committee of the Department of Education and Training; Nguyen Van Ba - Party member of the Tan Lac District Treasury Party Cell, Provincial State Treasury Party Committee; Nguyen Dinh Tien - Party member of the Information Technology Party Cell, Party Committee of Hoa Binh Electricity Company; Ha Thi Hanh - Party member of Party Cell 1, Party Committee of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
The Inspection Committee of Kim Boi District Party Committee, Hoa Binh Province disciplined 4 officials and party members: Bach Cong Du - District Party Committee member, Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Economic and Infrastructure Department of Kim Boi District; Nguyen Thi Thoa - Accounting officer, Party Cell member of B Primary School, Vinh Tien Commune Party Committee; Bach Cong Tinh - Party Cell Secretary, Principal of Primary and Secondary School, Binh Son Commune Party Committee, People's Council delegate of Binh Son Commune, term 2016 - 2021; Bui Thi Thu Huyen - teacher, Party Cell member of Primary and Secondary School, Dong Bac Commune Party Committee.
The 19 officials and party members named above had committed shortcomings in allowing their children to intervene, correct, and raise their exam scores in the 2018 National High School Exam in Hoa Binh province and used illegal exam results to be admitted to universities and academies illegally, causing serious consequences, causing outrage in society, and negatively affecting the reputation of the Party Committee and government.
