Third seed Daniil Medvedev showed superior form against Felix Auger Aliassime with a 2-0 victory (6-4, 6-2), officially securing his place in the Dubai Open final.
Daniil Medvedev officially secured his place in the Dubai Open final after a convincing 2-0 victory over top seed Felix Auger Aliassime. The Russian player maintained consistent form, taking full advantage of his opponent's minor mistakes to finish the match in two sets with scores of 6-4 and 6-2.
Confidence in the crucial moments of set 1
The semi-final match between the two top seeds was incredibly tense right from the start. Both Auger Aliassime and Medvedev displayed impressive serving abilities, giving their opponent no chance to break their serve in the first nine games.

The turning point of the set came in the 10th game. With the score at 5-4 in Medvedev's favor, the Russian player seized the only opportunity to successfully secure a break. Winning the first set 6-4 not only gave him a significant advantage in the score but also boosted the former world number one's confidence considerably.
Complete dominance in set 2
In contrast to Medvedev's initial enthusiasm, Auger Aliassime began to show signs of psychological instability. Medvedev quickly exploited this weakness to secure a break in the fourth game, creating a safe lead over his Canadian opponent.
Throughout the remainder of the set, Medvedev held his service games very firmly, giving his opponent no chance to fight back. In the eighth game, he secured another break to close out the second set with a decisive 6-2 victory. Winning 2-0 overall, Daniil Medvedev advanced straight to the final of this year's Dubai Open.
