Director of the Kong film officially becomes Vietnam's tourism ambassador.

On the afternoon of March 13th in Hanoi, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism officially presented the appointment decision to Jordan Vogt-Roberts, director of the film Kong: Skull Island, as Vietnam's tourism ambassador.

Director Jordan Vogt-Roberts will serve as Vietnam's tourism ambassador for the 2017-2020 term.

Sharing his feelings about officially assuming the role of Vietnam's tourism ambassador, director Jordan Vogt-Roberts said it was a great honor he had never had before.

"When I first came to Vietnam, I felt a lot of pressure because it was a place I didn't know much about, but once I finished the film, I felt very happy."

At that time, we were always determined to figure out what to do and how to accomplish such a difficult task, but we were determined to promote and showcase the beautiful scenery of Vietnam through the film.

One thing is certain: when watching this film, many people will be amazed by the breathtaking beauty of Vietnam. Viewers and tourists will surely say, "Wow, how can there be such beautiful places in the world?" director Jordan Vogt-Roberts shared his feelings.

He also said that during the filmmaking process in Vietnam, he had the opportunity to experience the culture and enjoy many Vietnamese dishes, which gradually fostered his affection for the country.
