Smashed 10 cars because friend skipped out on drinking party
After being denied a drinking party, a young man used bricks and stones to smash a series of cars parked on the street in Phan Thiet ward, Lam Dong. He was detained by the police for disturbing public order and intentionally damaging property.
On August 11, Phan Thiet Ward Police, Lam Dong Province, said they had detained Nguyen Quoc Long (born 2005, residing in Khanh Hoa Province) to investigate and clarify his actions.

Earlier, in the early morning of August 3, a person threw bricks at the door and car of Mr. NHT (residing in Phan Thiet ward). Upon discovering the incident, Mr. T. shouted for help.
At the same time, the working group of Phan Thiet Ward Police was also patrolling and investigating the subject who smashed the car in the area, so they controlled and arrested him.

Through verification, the police identified the person who smashed the car as Nguyen Quoc Long. At the Phan Thiet Ward Police Station, Long confessed that he had been drinking with two new friends. Afterwards, these two people made an appointment with Long to continue drinking at another location in Phan Thiet Ward.
However, when he arrived at the meeting place and did not see his drinking friends, Long got angry and used bricks and rocks to smash more than 10 cars parked on the streets of Phan Thiet ward.
Phan Thiet Ward Police have temporarily detained Nguyen Quoc Long. At the same time, they are consolidating the case file and continuing to fight to handle the subject for disturbing public order and intentionally damaging property according to the law.
