Man smashes 10 cars after friend skips out on a drinking party.
After being stood up from a drinking party, a young man used bricks and stones to vandalize numerous cars parked on the streets of Phan Thiet ward, Lam Dong province. He has been temporarily detained by the investigating agency for disturbing public order and intentionally damaging property.
On August 11th, the Phan Thiet Ward Police in Lam Dong Province announced that they had temporarily detained Nguyen Quoc Long (born in 2005, residing in Khanh Hoa Province) for criminal investigation into his alleged offenses.

Earlier, in the early morning of August 3rd, an individual threw bricks at the door and car of Mr. NHT (residing in Phan Thiet ward). Upon discovering the incident, Mr. T. shouted for help.
At the same time, a task force from the Phan Thiet Ward Police was patrolling and searching for the suspect who vandalized cars in the area, so they apprehended and arrested him.

Upon verification, the police identified the person who vandalized the car as Nguyen Quoc Long. At the Phan Thiet Ward Police Station, Long confessed that he had been drinking with two newly acquainted friends. Afterwards, these two friends arranged for Long to continue drinking at another location in Phan Thiet Ward.
However, upon arriving at the meeting point and not finding his drinking buddy, Long became enraged and used bricks and stones to vandalize more than 10 cars parked on the streets of Phan Thiet ward.
The Phan Thiet Ward Police have placed Nguyen Quoc Long under temporary criminal detention. Simultaneously, they are consolidating the case file and continuing their investigation to prosecute the suspect for acts of disturbing public order and intentionally damaging property, in accordance with the law.
