Respond promptly to customers' needs for clean water

(Baonghean) - Currently, Nghe An Water Supply Company Limited manages 13 factories and water supply systems in the province with a total capacity of 96,000 m3/day with 100,300 customers using clean water, many of whom are large production and business units and enterprises. Thanks to timely meeting the demand for clean water, in the first 4 months of 2016, the Company provided customers in the province with more than 6 million m3 of clean water.

In Vinh City, through ADB, ODA loans, and business capital, two modern and high-capacity water plants have been invested in upgrading. Hung Vinh Water Plant continues to be exploited and operated at a maximum capacity of 60,000 m3/day, producing and supplying water 24/7 to serve the people in Vinh City; Cau Bach Water Plant with a capacity of 20,000 m3/day actively supports the provision of clean water to Vinh City and neighboring areas.

Along with that, 13 water supply stations in Thanh Chuong, Do Luong, Tan Ky, Quy Chau, Quy Hop, Anh Son, Con Cuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son districts... are being maintained, upgraded, and their capacity increased to promptly serve the increasing demand for clean water of customers.

Under the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, Nghe An Water Supply Company has coordinated very effectively and promptly with Song Lam Water Supply Joint Stock Company to use raw water from Lam River to supply to Hung Vinh and Cau Bach water plants of Nghe An Water Supply Company. With a stable water source during peak periods such as Tet and summer, there will be no water shortage.

Hung Vinh Water Plant - Vinh City, capacity 60,000 m3/day.

According to the Decision of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee, Nghe An Water Supply Company has received Hung Nguyen Clean Water Supply Center to manage and invest in renovating, increasing capacity and expanding the network to continuously supply water and ensure quality for the people of Hung Nguyen town and some neighboring areas, which is highly appreciated by the people and district authorities.

Implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, the company continues to expand the water supply network to key and important areas according to the planning of the Provincial People's Committee, promptly meeting the needs of economic and urban development of the province.

Specifically, the company has invested in a water supply pipeline for the factory cluster of Masan Company in the Southeast Economic Zone, supplying approximately 30,000 m3 per month to Cua Lo Town, invested in the D300 pipeline on Dang Thai Mai Street to take water from Cau Bach Water Plant to supply to the Northeast of Vinh City, constructed the D200 pipeline on Pham Hong Thai Street to supply clean water to the Southwest of the city; initially planned and had strategies to ensure adequate clean water supply for the VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park and Service Complex in the coming years.

In Vinh City and its vicinity, the company has invested in renovating two settling tank clusters of Cau Bach Water Plant, contributing to increasing the plant's capacity by 150%. Continuing to renovate the network of old and dilapidated service pipelines, gradually zoning the renovation area for each block/ward and prioritizing the city center areas with the oldest network system. The overall design of the pipeline network according to the zoning and network separation model for Vinh City and its vicinity has been completed.

In the production and business process, the company always innovates its operations and brings high efficiency, especially applying information technology to management, construction and operation of software: Customer management, Installation and repair management, electronic office, network management and monitoring (scada)... Along with that, innovation in meter recording and water bill collection has created positive changes.

The water bill collection process has been shortened to 30 days, and the policy of encouraging and rewarding cashiers who complete the water bill collection work early is maintained, and there are no outstanding debts or delays in payment...
