The land of Quỳ is bustling with the Thăm Có Ngụn - Fá Xăng festival.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 24th, the People's Committee of Chau Binh commune (Quy Chau district) held the opening ceremony of the Tham Co Ngun - Fa Xang Festival 2018.
The Tham Co Ngun – Fa Xang festival is held every two years. It is an occasion for local people to express their gratitude and remember the two deities Lang Hun and Lang Mun, who contributed to the founding of the village and the community.

This year, the festival's entertainment section features a wide variety of activities, including cultural performances, sports competitions, a beauty contest, and especially events deeply rooted in folk culture such as: throwing the "con" (a traditional game), playing "to mac le" (a traditional toy), bamboo pole dancing, furrow carving, rice wine making contests, and traditional leaf-fermented wine making contests…

The Tham Co Ngun - Fa Xang Festival, in addition to meeting the spiritual needs of the people, also aims to expand tourism in the Quy Chau region. The festival takes place over three days, from March 23rd to 25th, 2018.
