Many good and creative methods.

A successful election is not only judged by ensuring adherence to procedures and legal regulations, but also by the level of voter participation. The 99.86% voter turnout in Nghe An is clear evidence of the thorough preparation by the entire political system, and also reflects the improved political awareness and civic responsibility of the people.

In particular, propaganda and mobilization efforts have been implemented synchronously from the provincial level to the grassroots, with the role of women's associations at all levels playing a diverse, creative, people-oriented, easy-to-understand, and accessible way.

In Tan Ky commune, the Women's Union has implemented diverse forms of election propaganda, tailored to the characteristics of each target group and residential area. Not only has it effectively utilized social media with vivid communication products such as videos and infographics, but the Union has also placed special emphasis on direct propaganda through branch meetings and thematic talks on election-related issues. A key aspect of this approach is the "individualization" of the propaganda content.

For women in ethnic minority areas, the Association organizes separate awareness sessions, focusing on clarifying the significance of election day, citizens' rights and responsibilities, and providing specific guidance on the voting process and how to choose exemplary representatives who truly represent the will and aspirations of the people. This direct and approachable method not only helps members "understand correctly and act correctly" but also inspires their proactive participation in the election process at the grassroots level.

Comrade Le Thi Mai Ha - Vice Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee and Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Tan Ky commune, affirmed: "Through propaganda, members have a clearer understanding of their roles and responsibilities, proactively seeking information, and also acting as 'propagandists' in their families and communities, contributing to spreading civic responsibility awareness. With a 100% voter turnout rate in the commune, it truly was a festival for all the people."

In Tan Mai ward, in addition to organizing three focused election propaganda conferences for officials and members, the highlight of the Women's Union of the ward was organizing the "Golden Bell" competition; conducting thematic Q&A sessions on elections in all 27/27 branches; and creating and posting videos, clips, infographics, and information on the criteria for elected representatives, brief biographies of candidates, election day, rights and obligations of citizens, guidance on the voting process, and how to choose worthy representatives on the union's fanpages, Facebook groups, and Zalo groups, as well as those of officials, members, and women.

Throughout the province, under the direction of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Women's Union, election propaganda work has been implemented systematically and comprehensively, with many innovations in content and methods. Besides traditional forms such as conferences, branch meetings, seminars, "Golden Bell" quizzes, democratic flower picking, and theatrical performances, the Women's Union at all levels has proactively promoted digital communication, creating dedicated pages, reports, videos, clips, and infographics; and applying QR codes and chatbots for election Q&A on online platforms. Notably, hundreds of articles and reports; 138 videos and clips; and nearly 3,000 infographics have been created and posted on the fan pages, Facebook, and Zalo accounts of the Women's Union and its officials and members, contributing to bringing election information closer to the people.

In addition, many localities organized parades and campaigns, effectively implementing the motto "going door to door" to encourage voters to participate in the election; they also encouraged officials and members to wear traditional Vietnamese dresses on election day, creating a solemn and vibrant atmosphere, contributing to making election day a true festival for all citizens, with a voter turnout rate of 99.86% across the province.

Comrade Hoang Thi Thu Hien - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, and President of the Provincial Women's Union - stated: "The effectiveness of propaganda work is not only reflected in the high voter turnout rate, but more importantly, in the clear transformation in the awareness and actions of members and women. When each member becomes an active propagandist in their family and community, the spread will be deeper and more sustainable."

The Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union also affirmed: It was this "internalization" in awareness that created beautiful and meaningful actions on election day. In many polling stations, the image of elderly women, despite their limited health, still waking up very early and preparing their attire to go to the polls, has become a vivid symbol of civic responsibility.

At polling station number 9 in Quy Hop commune, 96-year-old Ms. Le Thi Ngu from Quang Thinh hamlet, dressed in a traditional ao dai, arrived before the opening ceremony to participate in the event and exercise her sacred right to vote. In Yen Xuan commune, 93-year-old Ms. Pham Thi Quang from Cao Son 3 village walked more than 1km to the polling station.

Meanwhile, in Tan Mai ward, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Mau, 90 years old, from Dong Thanh block, also went directly to the polling station to cast her vote and choose her outstanding representatives… These images have profound communicative significance and strongly spread the message about the responsibility, duty, and ownership of each citizen in political life.

Affirming the role and position of women in the grassroots political system.

Beyond simply engaging in propaganda and mobilization, women in Nghe An are deeply involved in the entire election process: from consultation and candidate nomination to inspection, supervision, and direct participation in managing polling stations.

In Tan Mai ward, women hold many key positions in the Steering Committee, the Election Committee, and the polling stations; they actively participate in the consultation process and nominate candidates; and they support female candidates in improving their voter outreach skills and developing action programs, contributing to ensuring a reasonable and compliant female representation.

The results in the ward show that 14 out of 37 candidates for the People's Council are women, accounting for 39%; the percentage of female representatives elected reached 8 out of 22, accounting for over 36% - exceeding the minimum requirement of 35% in the list of candidates and the target of approximately 30% female representatives elected.

At the provincial level, in the official lists of candidates for the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for this term, the percentage of women is high and exceeds the regulations. Specifically, female candidates for the National Assembly reached 61.9%; for the Provincial People's Council reached 47.1%; and for the Commune People's Council reached 41.8%.

The election results further affirm voters' confidence in female officials: 5 out of 6 elected National Assembly deputies are women, accounting for 31.25%; 24 out of 85 provincial People's Council deputies are women, accounting for 28.23%; and 898 out of 2,910 commune-level People's Council deputies are women, accounting for 30.08%.

This result affirms the development, progress, and equality of women in the political field; it also demonstrates the Party's consistent attention to identifying, planning, training, nurturing, and utilizing female cadres, creating conditions for women to participate more deeply in the political system. It also highlights the role of the Women's Union in training female candidates through 50 training courses for 2,661 female candidates, equipping them with knowledge, skills, confidence, and assertiveness, thereby improving the quality of elected representatives.

Another noteworthy point is that women's associations at all levels have linked election work with emulation movements at the grassroots level, creating lasting and widespread values. In many localities, women members actively participate in environmental sanitation, beautifying village roads and alleys, building a "bright, green, clean, and beautiful" landscape; and participate in cultural and sports activities to celebrate election day. These activities not only create an atmosphere of excitement but also contribute to raising community awareness and strengthening solidarity.

The success of the election lies not only in the proper completion of procedures, but also in the significant shift in the awareness and actions of the people, especially women. From participating to actively contributing, women in Nghe An have demonstrated their capabilities and responsibility in local political activities.
