Highlights of the launching ceremony for Youth Month 2026 in Nghe An.
At the launching ceremony of Youth Month 2026, the youth of Nghe An successfully mobilized a total resource worth more than 2.2 billion VND to implement meaningful projects and activities aimed at people and disadvantaged areas.
On the morning of February 27th, at Tien Phong 1 Primary School in Tien Phong commune, the Standing Committee of the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organized the launching ceremony for the 2026 Youth Month. Attending the program were representatives from the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union, local leaders, and relevant agencies, units, and businesses.

Youth Month (March every year) was chosen by the Central Party Secretariat in 2004 to promote the pioneering, voluntary, and creative role of the younger generation in building and defending the Fatherland. This is a widespread political activity, a peak of volunteer movements, especially associated with the anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26).
Speaking at the program, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Ho Phuc Hai emphasized that Youth Month is an opportunity for the Youth Union to affirm its role in uniting young people, strongly arousing the spirit of initiative, volunteerism, and creativity, and transforming good ideas into concrete and practical actions.

The year 2026 presents many new development opportunities, but also places many demands on the younger generation: strong digital transformation, deep integration, and increasingly fierce competition.
This requires every young person to constantly study, train, improve their professional skills, digital skills, political acumen, and civic awareness; to dare to think, dare to act, dare to take responsibility, and dare to dedicate themselves to the common good.

During this year's Youth Month, the youth of Nghe An will focus on implementing many key, practical activities, strongly oriented towards the grassroots: carrying out youth projects and activities associated with building advanced new rural areas and civilized urban areas; participating in environmental protection and digital transformation of the community.
In addition, we will strengthen social welfare, support the construction of housing for disadvantaged families; give gifts to poor students who overcome difficulties; and accompany young people in their studies, entrepreneurship, and career development.

The representative of the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee suggested that, after this launching ceremony, each young person should carry with them a new determination; and each Youth Union branch should immediately begin concrete and practical actions.
From there, they have fostered creativity, solidarity, and a pioneering spirit to actively contribute to socio-economic development, the construction of new rural areas, and the building of civilized urban areas, leaving a strong mark of youth, which has been recognized and highly appreciated by Party committees and government authorities at all levels.

At the launching ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union presented 3 water purifiers worth 13 million VND to the Tien Phong Commune Youth Union; 50 cartons of milk to students of Tien Phong 1 Primary School; and 15 gift packages and 5 bicycles to disadvantaged students of the school.
At the same time, in coordination with BIDV Bank, we presented plaques to support the construction of 8 charitable houses for Youth Union branches in the province, each house worth 60 million VND.
At the launch ceremony, the Organizing Committee mobilized a total of 2,223,450,000 VND to implement meaningful projects and activities aimed at helping people and disadvantaged areas of the province.
This is a great source of encouragement, demonstrating the concern of Party committees, government agencies, partner organizations, businesses, and the entire society for the care of children and the local people.

Immediately after the launch ceremony, the program organizers held the inauguration ceremony for the artificial football field and toilet facilities at Tien Phong 1 Primary School. This project was initiated and implemented by benefactors from Ho Chi Minh City in coordination with the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union.
At the same time, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for a new house for the family of Mr. Luong Van Huan (Nam Xai village, Muong Quang commune). This is a family facing difficult circumstances in the locality.
