Painful mentally ill child stabs father to death at night

(Baonghean.vn) - The incident occurred at around 11:00 p.m. on May 20, in Hamlet 11, Nghi Xa Commune, Nghi Loc District (Nghe An).

On the morning of May 21, Nghi Loc District Police said that a heartbreaking murder had just occurred in a family.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.

At around 11pm, Hoang Van Nhat (born in 1989, residing in Hamlet 11, Nghi Xa Commune, Nghi Loc) used a knife to stab to death his biological father, Hoang Van Chau (born in 1959, also residing in Hamlet 11, Nghi Xa Commune). As a result, Mr. Chau died.

Immediately after receiving the report, Nghi Loc District Police went down to protect the scene and arrest the suspect. At the same time, they coordinated with PC45, PC54 (Provincial Police), Nghi Loc District People's Procuracy and Provincial People's Procuracy to conduct a crime scene investigation and autopsy.

The knife found at the scene is suspected to be the murder weapon.

After only one hour, the subject was arrested while hiding in Nam Cam Industrial Park. The subject is currently being taken to Nghi Loc District Police headquarters for investigation.

It is known that Nhat has a history of mental illness. His family had taken him for treatment. However, out of pity for his son, Mr. Chau brought him home.
