Where will the new battleground for confrontation between Russia, the US, and China emerge?
(Baonghean.vn) - In an interview with Türkiye, retired Ambassador Ali Bilge Cankorel, who previously worked at diplomatic missions in Afghanistan and Ukraine, named a place where a new conflict between Russia, the US, and China will soon begin.
Cankorel noted that Asia has been experiencing numerous crises, such as the change of power in Afghanistan, the Karabakh War, the events in Kazakhstan, and the recent clashes between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, all of which have drawn attention to the region. He believes that Asia will become a new arena of confrontation between the world's great powers.

The former ambassador pointed out that Asia is of great importance to international trade and possesses vast natural resources, which attracts the United States and China. Russia, which is interested in maintaining stability around its borders, will also join this competition.
Previously, military historian Boris Yulin, in a conversation with Russian media, acknowledged that China could support Russia in the event of a conflict with NATO. He explained that if the military alliance exerted too much pressure on Moscow, Beijing would be left alone against its main competitor, the United States; therefore, China would benefit more from acting as an ally of Russia and increasing its support for Moscow.
