At the beginning of the year, gasoline and oil prices decreased simultaneously.
Each liter of gasoline decreased by 577-791 VND, oil products also decreased by 265-473 VND from 3:00 p.m. today (January 30).
According to information from the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, after the Tet holiday, all gasoline and oil products decreased. Accordingly, each liter of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by 577 VND, RON 95 gasoline decreased by 791 VND. Oil products also decreased by 265-473 VND per liter, kg depending on the type.
After adjustment, E5 RON 92 gasoline will be at a maximum of 19,268 VND per liter, RON 95 gasoline will be at a maximum of 20,122 VND per liter. Each liter of diesel has a new price of 16,136 VND, kerosene will not be higher than 15,062 VND and mazut will be at a maximum of 12,444 VND per kilogram.
Along with the price adjustment, the operator will deduct 100 VND from the Price Stabilization Fund for each liter of E5 RON 92 gasoline, 500 VND from each liter of RON 95 gasoline and diesel. Kerosene will be deducted 400 VND per liter, and mazut is 200 VND. The operating agency has decided to temporarily suspend the expenditure levels from the Price Stabilization Fund for gasoline and oil in this adjustment period.
According to the operator, the average price of finished petroleum products on the world market over the past 15 days has fluctuated up and down, but the general trend is downward. RON 92 gasoline (used to blend E5 RON 92 gasoline) is 67.606 USD per barrel, down 6.1%; RON 95 gasoline is 69.610 USD per barrel, down 6.4%.
