At the beginning of the year, gasoline and diesel prices decreased simultaneously.
Each liter of gasoline will decrease by 577-791 VND, and other petroleum products will also drop by 265-473 VND from 3 PM today (January 30).
According to information from the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance, after the Lunar New Year holiday, gasoline and diesel prices have decreased. Specifically, E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by 577 VND per liter, and RON 95 gasoline decreased by 791 VND per liter. Diesel prices also decreased by 265-473 VND per liter or kilogram, depending on the type.
Following the adjustment, the maximum price for E5 RON 92 gasoline is 19,268 VND per liter, and for RON 95 gasoline it is 20,122 VND per liter. The new price for diesel fuel is 16,136 VND per liter, kerosene is no higher than 15,062 VND, and fuel oil is a maximum of 12,444 VND per kilogram.
Along with the price adjustment, the operator is allocating 100 VND per liter of E5 RON 92 gasoline, 500 VND per liter of RON 95 gasoline and diesel fuel from the Price Stabilization Fund. Kerosene is allocated 400 VND per liter, while fuel oil is allocated 200 VND. The allocation from the Price Stabilization Fund for gasoline and diesel fuel has been temporarily suspended by the operator for this adjustment period.
According to the operator, the average price of refined petroleum products on the world market over the past 15 days has fluctuated, with both increases and decreases, but the general trend is downward. RON 92 gasoline (used to blend E5 RON 92 gasoline) is now $67.606 per barrel, down 6.1%; RON 95 gasoline is $69.610 per barrel, down 6.4%.
