Investing in clean water supply systems for 3 cities.

(Baonghean.vn) - According to the Nghe An Department of Construction, the province is preparing to invest in three water supply systems for three urban areas: Nghia Dan town, Kim Son town - Que Phong district, and Hoang Mai urban area.

The clean water supply system for Hoang Mai town is located in Hamlet 11, Quynh Trang commune, Hoang Mai town, and Hamlets 1 and 5, Tan Thang commune, Quynh Luu district. It has a designed capacity of 80,000 m3/day and night, supplying water to Hoang Mai and key projects. Currently, land clearance and implementation are underway.

The clean water supply system in Kim Son town, Que Phong district, is located in Muong Ngoc - Que Phong, with a designed capacity of 1,500 m3/day. The raw water source is from Nam Giai, and the pipeline network has a total length of 43,569 m, supplying water to Kim Son town and surrounding areas. The project is currently under investment.

The clean water supply system in Nghia Dan district, located in Nghia Binh commune, Nghia Dan district, draws water from Song Sao lake. With a capacity of 5000 m3/day, it was invested in under the BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) model. Currently, the Provincial People's Committee is directing Nghia Dan district to carry out the procedures to convert the investment model according to regulations and increase the water supply capacity to 30,000 m3/day.

Currently, there are in the province:18 out of 21 urban areas have been supplied with water; thus, after completion...Three water supply systems have been invested in for three urban areas: Nghia Dan town, Kim Son town - Que Phong district, and Hoang Mai urban area, bringing the total number of urban areas in Nghe An province with water supply systems to 21 out of 21.
