Expedite the progress of the Cau Cau Tourist Area project.

(Baonghean.vn) - Cienco 4 Group must complete the planning process and submit it to the Provincial People's Committee for approval by early June 2017, and finalize the lease contract for the Cau Cau lake surface area as soon as possible.

This was a proposal made by Comrade Le Ngoc Hoa, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, at a working session with Cienco 4 Group and relevant departments and the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong district regarding the progress of land clearance and implementation of the Cau Cau mixed-use tourism and resort project, which took place on the morning of May 28th at the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong district.

The area surveyed by the contractor for the project covers 382.47 hectares, including approximately 94 hectares of Cau Cau Lake's surface area, divided into main functional zones: Reception and administration zone; Resort zone; Entertainment zone; Traditional craft village and cultural exploration zone; and Spiritual tourism zone.

After hearing Cienco 4's presentation on the survey plan, planning, and land clearance work, and the opinions of the departments, the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong district, and the communes of Thanh An and Thanh Thinh, Comrade Le Ngoc Hoa requested that Cienco 4 Group complete the planning for submission to the Provincial People's Committee for approval in early June 2017 and finalize the lease contract for the Cau Cau lake surface area as soon as possible.

In coordination with the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong district, the Land Clearance Council continues to do a good job of surveying, counting, and determining compensation prices; and managing the operation of boats on the lake.

Relevant departments and agencies advised the Provincial People's Committee on effective solutions to ensure the best possible implementation of the Project. The Thanh Chuong District People's Committee did a good job of publicizing and mobilizing the people in the land clearance process, while also identifying locations for resettlement for some households whose houses had to be relocated; coordinating with Cienco 4 and other departments and agencies in implementing the project.
