Phu Vinh Temple (also known as Nghe Temple) is located in Hamlet 4, Hung Nhan Commune (Hung Nguyen) on a campus of 12,000 m2. The temple was built during the Le Trung Hung period, worshiping gods who are considered lucky gods by the people such as Tra Son, Ha Ba, Long Vuong... and human gods who have contributed to the country such as: Doctor Le Dac Toan, Au Dang De.
During the resistance war against the US, Phu Vinh temple was used to store food and transport troops to the South. Every year, many festivals take place at the temple such as Lunar New Year, Thuong Nguyen festival, Tra Son god worshiping festival, Luc Ngoat festival, Ha Dien festival and death anniversary of the gods. In which, Luc Ngoat festival and Ha Dien festival are two important festivals.
Through the ups and downs of history, the temple now has the following items: Tam Quan gate, Ha Dien, Trung Dien, Thuong Dien, Quan Giam Sat shrine, and garden. The temple still preserves many rare artifacts and documents such as 13 Buddha and Saint statues made of jackfruit wood; three large inscriptions, and an intact wooden dragon palanquin.
At the ceremony, representatives of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Nghe An province awarded the certificate of recognition of Phu Vinh temple as a provincial historical relic to the leaders of Hung Nguyen district and Hung Nhan commune.
