(Baonghean.vn) - Despite the urgent relocation request from the leaders of Nghe An province at the PVNC2-CT02 apartment building on Nguyen Quoc Tri Street, Vinh City, nothing has changed yet.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 28, after inspecting the PVNC2-CT02 apartment building, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien affirmed that the investor, Thanh Vinh Investment, Production and Trading Joint Stock Company, had committed many serious violations.
During a dialogue on March 28, 2018, with residents of the PVNC2-CT02 apartment building, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien instructed the investor to urgently relocate residents because the building seriously violated regulations, including allowing people to move in despite lacking a fire safety system. However, this request has not been implemented. On the night of March 30, 2018, the apartments in the PVNC2-CT02 building were still lit, and daily life continued as normal. (Photo: Nhat Lan)

At the elevator system in the basement, the investor posted the urgent document No. 1877/UBND-CN dated March 28, 2018, from the Provincial People's Committee regarding the urgent rectification and handling of violations at the PVNC-CT02 apartment building project, which clearly stated the urgent relocation of residents. According to a representative of the PVNC2-CT2 apartment building management board, on the afternoon of March 30, 2018, the investor's notice requesting residents to vacate the building was delivered to all households. The notice specified the relocation costs. Accordingly, households would receive 5 million VND per month and 2 million VND per relocation. The remediation period would last two months. Thus, each household would receive a total of 14 million VND. However, many households wished to remain until the investor rectified the issues as directed by the Provincial People's Committee in Official Letter 1877. (Photo: Nhat Lan)
