Wear masks, cover license plates, carry weapons to fight
On May 16, the Investigation Police Agency of Hai Chau District, Da Nang City prosecuted and temporarily detained 5 teenagers for the acts of "Intentionally causing injury" and "Disturbing public order". To conceal their whereabouts, the subjects wore masks and covered their motorbike license plates when committing the crime.
Initial investigation results show that due to a conflict with another group (unknown origin), Vo Khac Manh (born 2009), residing in Lien Chieu district, Da Nang city, invited a group of more than 10 friends to gather on Nguyen Sinh Sac street, Lien Chieu district to fight.
Before arriving at the meeting point, the subjects wore masks, covered their motorbike license plates, and brought iron pipes, homemade knives, pitchforks, etc. Then, they drove their motorbikes in a row on the road at high speed, revving their engines and honking loudly.
After circling around for a few times but not finding an opponent, Manh's group decided to go find and beat up another group of young men living on Hai Phong Street (Hai Chau District). When approaching 29/3 Park, they saw 5 young men on 2 motorbikes belonging to the group living on Hai Phong Street, so Manh's group shouted and chased after them.

Chasing each other to Hoang Van Thu street, a motorbike carrying 3 teenagers from the group staying on Hai Phong street fell down. The group of teenagers abandoned their motorbikes and ran into an alley but were chased and beaten by Manh's group, injuring 2 teenagers.
Receiving information about the incident, the Criminal Police Team of Hai Chau District Police urgently began investigating and clarifying the subjects involved.
On May 16, the District Police Investigation Agency initiated a criminal case, prosecuted and temporarily detained five subjects aged 16 to 19 for the acts of "Intentionally causing injury" and "Disturbing public order" in Manh's group, including Vo Bach Minh Toan, Vo Viet Nhan, Nguyen Quoc Bao, Nguyen Mai Huy Hoang and Nguyen Van Dung.
Regarding Manh and a number of teenagers under 16 years old, the Hai Chau District Police Investigation Agency is preparing a case to continue handling according to the law.
