A man in Tennessee, dressed as Santa Claus, went around handing out candy and then robbed a credit union.

Police in Memphis, Tennessee, are searching for a man wearing a Santa Claus mask who robbed the Memphis Workers' Credit Union on December 21st.

The robber initially handed out candy to some staff and customers, then he pulled a threatening note from his pocket and gave it to a teller, demanding money. Police did not release the amount of money stolen.

Video footage from outside the bank shows the man calmly leaving with a bag of cash. He turned his back to the camera as he removed his mask. No one was injured in the incident.
