Long Bien District Police, Hanoi said that the unit has temporarily detained Mai Thi Huong (born in 1969, residing in Group 17, Thach Ban Ward, Long Bien District) to investigate and handle the act of Resisting a person on official duty.
According to investigation documents, at around 9:00 a.m. on March 22, the working group of the People's Committee and the Police of Thach Ban Ward went to the business households violating urban order at Group 17 to sign a commitment not to violate.

When the working group arrived at Mai Thi Huong's household, this person did not comply and silently insulted the task force.
Faced with the above developments, Mr. Dam Van Duy, an urban officer of the ward, made a record of commitment and gave it to Ms. Huong, but she did not sign and instead snatched the commitment and crumpled it.
When Mr. Duy took back the minutes, Ms. Huong suddenly used a ballpoint pen to stab his upper right lip, causing bleeding.
Immediately afterwards, Ms. Huong was subdued by the police and taken to the police station for questioning.
