Vinh University: Commends 121 outstanding students and January Star award winners.
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of January 9th, to commemorate the 68th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Students and the Vietnam Student Association (January 9th, 1950 - 2018), Vinh University organized a rally and awarded the title of "Excellent Student" and presented the January Star Award 2018.

Over the past period, the Student Union of Vinh University has launched and organized many beneficial activities for students to concretize the criteria for the "January Star" and "5 Good Students" titles, so that each student and member can strive to achieve them.
These movements all received a positive response from a large number of students throughout the school, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere of competition.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Huy Bang - Vice Rector of Vinh University - acknowledged the achievements of the students in the past period and expressed his hope that they would be shining examples, spreading the good qualities of "January Star" and "5 Good Students".
At the same time, we call upon all students throughout the university to launch a movement of self-study, self-research, and academic competition, striving for excellence in learning and training for future career development, for the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country in general, and for the development of Vinh University in particular; worthy of being students of Vinh University with the eight golden words of tradition: "Courage - Intelligence - Civility - Volunteerism".
