Hanoi National University and Nghe An build high-class tourism products

(Baonghean.vn)- Hanoi National University will support Nghe An in building high-tech products, specialties, and unique features; developing high-class tourism; building smart cities and responding to climate change.

These are the main contents of the proposed cooperation plan between Hanoi National University and Nghe An province at the working session on the afternoon of September 17.

Attending the event were Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Kim Son - Director of Hanoi National University. On the provincial leadership side, there were comrades Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, comrades who are members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Le Xuan Dai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Le Minh Thong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh spoke about the cooperation results between Nghe An and Hanoi National University.

At the meeting, the two sides reviewed the cooperation results between Nghe An province and Hanoi National University after more than a year of signing cooperation agreements on technology development and transfer, human resource development, tourism development, healthcare, social affairs and investment promotion.

Currently, Hanoi National University has submitted 3 proposals: Building an interactive online map of tourism and culture in Vinh city and surrounding areas, Nghe An province; Building a start-up training model associated with tourism development for youth and women in Nghe An province; Researching and developing a new generation of distance learning system for high schools and middle schools in mountainous areas of Nghe An province.

These are topics of high practical significance, addressing current issues of concern in the province and continuing to be included in the province's scientific research program in 2017.

In the spirit of frank work, the opinions of Hanoi National University also discussed the current problems of Nghe An, especially in education and training, image building, tourism development, international cooperation, high-tech agricultural development...

On the side of Hanoi National University, it also affirmed that it will strive to deepen cooperation, thereby contributing to exploiting strengths and potentials, contributing to the further development of Nghe An province.

The contents of cooperation with Nghe An province and the National University are assigned to the International Cooperation Department as the focal point.

Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh said that the cooperation with Hanoi National University is very meaningful for Nghe An province at present. Based on the principle of mutual benefit, he hoped that in the coming time, both sides will look at each cooperation program to have effective coordination.

The Provincial Party Secretary also affirmed: Nghe An is currently re-implementing the planning, tourism development, and education development. Therefore, the province needs the support of Hanoi National University in building regional planning, planning and mechanisms to build the image of Nghe An tourism in the media.

In addition, with experience in training, Nghe An expects Hanoi National University to support the province and Vinh University in research, staff training, and attention to general education.

Regarding the proposed cooperation contents in the coming time, after receiving opinions from relevant departments and branches, the province will assign the Department of Planning and Investment to synthesize the report to have directions for implementation in the coming time.
