Traveling to 37 countries just to photograph beautiful women.

What does a beautiful woman look like? This question becomes complicated because the concept of beauty varies from place to place. A Romanian photographer traveled the world for two years, solely to discover the beauty of women globally.

Mihaela Noroc, with her photo project "Map of Beauty," has documented the beauty of women in 37 countries. And the beauty captured in her project is truly admirable.

"Now I can say that beauty is everywhere, and it's not about cosmetics or body measurements, but about what's within you," Mihaela wrote. "Global trends make us look and behave alike, but in reality, we are all beautiful because we are different. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but the beholder is always someone else."

Some recent photo projects, aided by Photoshop, edit women's images based on what constitutes beauty in the eyes of Photoshop experts. But the photos below by Mihaela celebrate the true beauty of women, in their natural environment, mostly without makeup.
