An elderly man was fatally struck by a motorbike while crossing the road on his bicycle.

(Baonghean.vn) - At approximately 5:30 AM on October 28th, a traffic accident occurred on National Highway 1A in Hamlet 6, Quynh Van Commune, Quynh Luu District, resulting in the death of an elderly woman riding a bicycle.

At that time, Mr. Ho Van Nh. (71 years old, residing in Hamlet 9, Quynh Thach Commune, Quynh Luu District) was riding his bicycle across the road when he was suddenly hit by a motorbike with license plate 37L1 - 3058 traveling from Vinh to Hanoi, driven by Mr. Ho VT (born in 1959, residing in Hamlet 3, Ngoc Son Commune, Quynh Luu District).

The powerful collision sent both men tumbling onto the road, unconscious at the scene. They were both taken to Quynh Luu District General Hospital for emergency treatment. However, due to the severity of his injuries, Mr. Nh. passed away, while Mr. T. remains in critical condition.

Immediately after the accident occurred, traffic police from Quynh Luu district arrived to investigate the cause.
