According to the provisions of Point a, Clause 7 and Point a, Clause 13, Article 7, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, drivers of motorbikes, motorbikes and similar vehicles who drive in the wrong direction (not applicable to highways and priority vehicles) will be fined from 4,000,000 to 6,000,000 VND; 2 points will be deducted from the driver's license (GPLX).

In case of going in the wrong direction causing a traffic accident, according to point a, clause 10 and point d, clause 13, Article 7, Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, the violator will be fined from 10,000,000 VND to 14,000,000 VND; 10 points will be deducted from the driver's license (GPLX).
