To celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, Bac Lieu province will have 3 locations for low-altitude fireworks displays. Bac Lieu City will fire 120 fireworks displays, while the other two localities, Phuoc Long district and Gia Rai town, will fire 90 fireworks displays.
- Bac Lieu City will hold a fireworks display at Hung Vuong Square (Hamlet 5, Ward 1, Bac Lieu City).
- Phuoc Long District will hold a fireworks display on the embankment opposite the District Cultural Center (Hanh Chinh Hamlet, Phuoc Long Town, Phuoc Long District).
- Gia Rai town will hold a fireworks display in front of the Gia Rai Town Party Committee's flag-raising area (Hamlet 1, Ward 1, Gia Rai town).
The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 11 PM to 11:15 PM on January 28, 2025 (which is the night of the 30th of the lunar month of the Year of the Snake).
In addition, the Provincial Military Command will preside over the fireworks displays in the districts, towns, and cities of Bac Lieu province, coordinating with the districts, towns, and cities to review and report on funding sources, firing locations, the number of fireworks displays, and other related matters; at the same time, they will consult with neighboring provinces, report and propose recommendations to the Provincial People's Committee for submission to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee for approval before implementation.
