To celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, Binh Thuan province will have 4 locations for low-altitude fireworks displays as follows.
- Phan Thiet City: One fireworks display point, at the intersection of Nguyen Tat Thanh and Le Loi streets and Doi Duong Park, Binh Hung ward, with a total of 120 fireworks displays.
- Tuy Phong District: 1 firing point, located within the premises of the District Party Committee, District People's Council, and District People's Committee headquarters, with a total of 90 pyrotechnic devices.
- Bac Binh District: 1 firing point, in Xuan An 2 neighborhood, Cho Lau town, with 90 pyrotechnic devices.
- Ham Thuan Bac District: firing at 1 location, in the area of the Cai River embankment, Ma Lam town, with a total of 90 pyrotechnic devices.
The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025 (i.e., New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake).
The project will be implemented using funds raised through social mobilization by the People's Committees of districts and cities, without using state budget funds.
The aforementioned localities proactively coordinated with the Provincial Military Command and the Provincial Police to ensure the necessary forces and conditions for carrying out low-altitude fireworks displays on New Year's Eve, ensuring safety and visual appeal.
The Provincial People's Committee has assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to take the lead in developing a special art program to serve the people and tourists on New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year 2025 at the front hall stage of the Provincial Theater and Cultural and Art Exhibition Center (from 8 PM until midnight).
