To celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, Ha Giang province will have 9 locations for low-altitude fireworks displays, including:
- Mount Cam, Ha Giang City.
- Don Cao area, Dong Van town, Dong Van district.
- Meo Vac town, Meo Vac district.
- Yen Minh District Square.
- South bank of the Gâm River, Bắc Mê district.
- Vi Xuyen District Stadium.
- May 1st Square, Quang Binh District.
- Vinh Quang town, Hoang Su Phi district.
- Coc Pai Town, Xin Man District.
The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025 (i.e., New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake).
Regarding the range, timing, duration, and location of fireworks displays, the Provincial People's Committee requests that localities comply strictly with the regulations stipulated in Government Decree No. 137/2020/ND-CP dated November 27, 2020, on the management and use of fireworks and other current regulations.
The funding for the fireworks display is sourced through social mobilization (not using the State budget). Fundraising must comply with legal regulations and does not involve soliciting contributions from officials, civil servants, employees, or the general public.
