List of fireworks display locations for Lunar New Year 2025 in Hanoi

To welcome the New Year of the Snake 2025, the entire capital Hanoi will have 30 fireworks display points and 31 locations (including 10 high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks display locations and 21 low-altitude fireworks display locations).

1. High-altitude fireworks combined with low-altitude fireworks (including 10 locations).

Total number of high-altitude fireworks: 6,000 (10 sites, each site has 600 fireworks).

- Battlefield No. 1: Hoan Kiem District (in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Headquarters).

- Battlefield No. 2: Hoan Kiem District (in front of Hanoi Post Office).

- Battlefield No. 3: Tay Ho District (at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, in front of the District People's Committee gate).

- Battlefield No. 4: Nam Tu Liem District (at the F1 racetrack, Phu Do ward).

- Battlefield No. 5: Hai Ba Trung District (Coconut Island, Thong Nhat Park, Le Dai Hanh Ward).

- Battlefield No. 6: Ha Dong District (Van Quan Lake, Van Quan Ward).

- Battlefield No. 7: Son Tay Town (Son Tay Citadel).

- Battlefield No. 8: Thanh Tri District (Regulatory Lake project land, Tam Hiep commune).

Firework display time is 15 minutes, from 0:00 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025 (ie New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year).

Along with fireworks, the city plans to organize many cultural and artistic activities on the occasion of the Lunar New Year, such as the Hanoi International Light Festival in Tay Ho district (scheduled for 8:00 p.m. on January 18); the Brilliant Thang Long 2025 program at the stage area in front of My Dinh National Stadium and the F1 racetrack area, scheduled from 9:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. on January 28, 2025.

On the occasion of Lunar New Year, Hanoi will also give 1.1 million gifts to policy beneficiaries with a total cost of nearly 568 billion VND.
