To celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, Hanoi will have 30 fireworks display locations and 31 firing sites (including 10 sites with high-altitude fireworks combined with low-altitude fireworks and 21 sites with low-altitude fireworks).
1. High-altitude fireworks display combined with low-altitude fireworks display (including 10 locations).
The total number of high-altitude fireworks is 6,000 (600 fireworks per location, across 10 sites).
- Battlefield No. 1: Hoan Kiem District (in front of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper Headquarters).
- Battlefield No. 2: Hoan Kiem District (in front of Hanoi Post Office).
- Battlefield No. 3: Tay Ho District (at Lac Long Quan Flower Garden, in front of the District People's Committee gate).
- Venue No. 4: Nam Tu Liem District (at the F1 racetrack site, Phu Do Ward).
- Battlefield No. 5: Hai Ba Trung District (Coconut Island, Thong Nhat Park, Le Dai Hanh Ward).

The total number of low-altitude fireworks displays is 3,420 sets (120 sets per firing site; 10 high-altitude firing sites, each with 90 sets).

The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025 (i.e., New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake).
Along with fireworks, the city plans to organize many cultural and artistic activities during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake, such as the Hanoi International Light Festival in Tay Ho District (scheduled for 8 PM on January 18th); and the "Brilliant Thang Long 2025" program at the stage area in front of My Dinh National Stadium and the F1 racetrack area, scheduled from 9 PM to 11:59 PM on January 28th, 2025.
During the Lunar New Year holiday, Hanoi will also allocate 1.1 million gift packages for people under social welfare policies, with a total budget of nearly 568 billion VND.
