To celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, Khanh Hoa province will have 4 locations for low-altitude fireworks displays. Specifically:
- In Nha Trang City, the event will take place in the 2/4 Square area.
- Ninh Hoa town
- Van Ninh District
The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025 (i.e., New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake).
The fireworks display will consist of 150 low-altitude fireworks displays; funding will come from sponsorships and social contributions. The Khanh Hoa Provincial Military Command will be responsible for the fireworks displays in various localities.
Additionally, on Hon Tre Island, Khanh Hoa province will host low-altitude and high-altitude fireworks displays at the VinWonders Nha Trang resort.
Specifically, Khanh Hoa will have low-altitude fireworks displays at 8 PM on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays every week (from January 1st to December 31st, 2025) and on January 28th, 29th, August 5th, 7th, December 24th, and 25th. Each display will last 7 minutes, with 60 sets of fireworks, 300 firecrackers, and 200 water cannons firing in each round.
High-altitude fireworks will be launched at 8 PM on April 30th, May 1st, August 8th, September 1st, September 2nd, December 31st, and January 1st, 2026. Each display will last 8-10 minutes, with 100 sets of fireworks, 500 firecrackers, and 400 water cannons firing in each round.
In January, there will be additional fireworks displays on January 28th and 29th, which are the nights of the 29th of the 12th lunar month and the 1st day of the Lunar New Year. Each display will last 7 minutes, with 60 sets of fireworks and 300 firecrackers in total.
According to the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, this is a tourism product serving both locals and tourists visiting Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa. It aims to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere, contributing to welcoming the spring and summer tourism seasons and stimulating activities throughout the festival season until the end of 2025 and into the new year 2026. The funding for the event comes from social contributions and does not utilize the state budget.
