To celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, Ninh Binh province will have four locations for low-altitude fireworks displays in Hoa Lu city, Tam Diep city, Yen Mo district, and Yen Khanh district. Specifically:
- In Hoa Lu City, the fireworks display will take place at Dinh Tien Hoang Square.
- In Tam Diep City, the fireworks display will take place at the City Sports Center.
- In Yen Mo District, the fireworks display will take place at the district's central stadium.
- In Yen Khanh District, the fireworks display will take place at the District Cultural Center.
The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025 (i.e., New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake).
The funding for organizing the low-altitude fireworks display comes from social contributions, not from the state budget.
The People's Committee of Ninh Binh province has assigned the People's Committees of districts and cities to take the lead and coordinate with the Ninh Binh Provincial Military Command, the Ninh Binh Provincial Police, and the Ninh Binh Provincial Department of Culture and Sports to develop a specific plan and organize low-altitude fireworks displays during the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake 2025 in accordance with regulations, ensuring absolute safety for people, vehicles, environmental landscape, security and order, and traffic safety.
