To celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, Thanh Hoa province will have two locations for low-altitude fireworks displays. Specifically:
- Thanh Hoa City: Lam Son Square, Dien Bien Ward
- Nghi Son town: Ngoc Son Square, Hai Hoa ward.
The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025 (i.e., New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake).
Regarding the range, timing, duration, and location of fireworks displays, the Provincial People's Committee requests that localities comply strictly with the regulations stipulated in Government Decree No. 137/2020/ND-CP dated November 27, 2020, on the management and use of fireworks and other current regulations.
The funding for the fireworks display is sourced through social mobilization (not using the State budget). Fundraising must comply with legal regulations and does not involve soliciting contributions from officials, civil servants, employees, or the general public.
