To celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, Hue City will have four high-altitude fireworks displays located in the city center and in the districts of A Luoi, Phong Dien, and Phu Loc.
The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025 (i.e., New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake).
Additionally, a low-altitude fireworks display will be held as part of the New Year's Eve cultural program at the Hue Imperial Citadel Conservation Center.
The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 10:00 PM to 10:15 PM on January 28, 2025 (which is the night of the 30th of the Lunar New Year, Year of the Snake).
The Department of Information and Communications is tasked with leading and coordinating with the Provincial Military Command, the Hue Imperial City Relics Conservation Center, and other relevant units to promote and publicize the artistic performances and fireworks display on New Year's Eve so that the public is aware of and can participate.
Besides the fireworks display, many activities celebrating the New Year will take place in the area with the theme: "Celebrating the country's renewal, celebrating the glorious Party, celebrating the Year of the Snake".
Specifically, the New Year's Eve cultural program for the Year of the Snake (2025) will take place in front of the gate of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Le Loi Street, Hue City, from 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM on January 28, 2025 (corresponding to the 29th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Dragon).
The New Year's art program for the Year of the Snake (2025) will be held at Ngo Mon Square from 9:30 PM on January 28, 2025 to 12:15 AM on January 29, 2025 (corresponding to the 29th day of the 12th lunar month of the Year of the Dragon and the 1st day of the 1st lunar month of the Year of the Snake).
