To celebrate the Lunar New Year of the Snake 2025, Yen Bai province will have 7 locations for low-altitude fireworks displays, including:
- Yen Bai City (02 points): Central area at km5 and Yen Hoa Park area.
- Nghia Lo town (01 point): Nghia Lo Prison and Fort historical and cultural relic site.
- Tran Yen District (01 point): Dam Voi Park area, Co Phuc town.
- Van Yen District (01 point): Evergreen New Urban Area, Mau A Town.
- Luc Yen District (01 point): The central area of Yen The town.
- Yen Binh District (01 point): The central flower garden area of Yen Binh District.
The fireworks display will last 15 minutes, from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025 (i.e., New Year's Eve of the Year of the Snake).
To organize fireworks displays at designated locations as planned and ensure safety, the Yen Bai Provincial Military Command has coordinated with relevant units to prepare for the reception and transportation of artillery shells to the locations, ensuring absolute safety; organized training and guidance on the organization and techniques of fireworks displays; prepared a well-trained command and control force; and coordinated with units to ensure order before, during, and after the fireworks display.
