To increase the output and income value of the salt industry, from the beginning of the season, Quynh Luu district has had many policies to encourage people to invest in upgrading and building water supply and drainage systems, improving drying plots, yards, foundations...

The district also directed people to boldly apply technical advances in salt production, build brands of clean salt, iodized salt, etc. to help salt farmers feel secure in production. Along with that, there are solutions to contact consumption factories to find stable output for people.

In 3 months, the whole district of Quynh Luu produced 32 thousand tons of salt.

Since March, the district has produced 32,000 tons of salt, reaching 47% of the plan. According to the 2016 plan, the district will produce 68,000 tons of salt.

Currently, the average salt price is from 1,000 VND - 1,200 VND/kg, accordingly, revenue from March to June reached 32 billion VND.
