(Baonghean.vn) - Vinh City has suspended six businesses selling pharmaceuticals and operating private medical practices illegally after an inter-agency team inspected 38 private medical and pharmaceutical establishments in the area.
After a week of inspections,The inter-agency team for private medical and pharmaceutical practices in Vinh City inspected 38 private medical and pharmaceutical establishments in the area.
Inspections revealed that most establishments violated regulations, including: individuals selling medicine lacking the required qualifications or certificates of eligibility; medical practices failing to publicly display the names of practitioners and employees; and failing to maintain records of drug sales and purchases as required.

The inspection team issued fines totaling 36 million VND to 16 establishments. Of these, six establishments were ordered to cease operations for violations, including: Net Duyen Dental Clinic at 55 Nguyen Thai Hoc; Traditional Chinese Medicine Pharmacy No. 10 Tue Tinh Street; Duc Phuc Pharmacy No. 32 Dao Tan Street, Doi Cung Ward; Hanh Tien Pharmacy No. 42 Nguyen Duy Trinh Street, Hung Dung Ward; Drug Kiosk No. 4 at Hung Dong Market; and Khanh Hoa Medicine Agency No. 454 Dang Thai Mai Street, also in Hung Dong Commune.
The six establishments mentioned above had been operating for a long time but did not have professional certificates or business licenses.
The inter-agency inspection team has summoned the violating establishments to the Vinh City People's Committee for processing according to the law.
