List of car models with preferential registration fees
While waiting for the Government to approve the proposal to reduce 50% of registration fees for domestically assembled cars, many car manufacturers and dealers have applied registration fee support and reduced prices for many car models on the market.
Since December last year, car purchasing power in Vietnam has been gradually declining. In February alone, the total car consumption in the market, announced by the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA), reached only over 17,300 vehicles, the lowest level since the car market "hit bottom" in September 2021.
In the context of the current stagnant sales trend of the entire Vietnamese automobile market, many car manufacturers and dealers use the trick of "old bottle, new wine" to launch a series of incentives and financial support for customers to stimulate consumption.
This can be considered a “test drug” to hit the psychology of consumers. Most manufacturers and car dealers have launched preferential policies and discounts on many models and many car lines. From cheap cars, to urban SUVs, 7-seat SUVs, popular 5+2-seat MPVs or even B-class sedans - the car segment that has been the most popular in Vietnam in recent years, all have discounts.
Currently, price reduction in the form of support and preferential registration fees is being applied by a number of automobile manufacturers and dealers. Specifically:
1. Nissan Vietnam
