(Baonghean.vn) – Police have recorded at least six simultaneous attacks in Paris on the evening of November 13th. At least 100 people were killed. A state of emergency was immediately declared.

On the evening of November 13th, coordinated attacks targeted the Le Petit Cambodge restaurant and the Le Carillon bar across the street, both located in the 11th arrondissement of Paris. Subsequent attacks targeted a concert at the Bataclan and the La Belle Equipe cafe on Charonne Street. Witnesses reported that at least two bombings occurred near the Stade de France, where a football match between France and Germany was taking place.

The most serious attack occurred at Bataclan, located at the intersection of Richard Lenoir Avenue and Boulevard Voltaire. In addition to shooting civilians, the attackers also took hostages. According to the latest information, police have shot and killed two terrorists. This information has been confirmed by the SGP counter-terrorism police force.

At the Stade de France stadium, witnesses reported hearing at least two explosions. The bombings targeted three areas near the stadium, including two fast-food restaurants and a bar.

South of Charonne Road, at the intersection of Faidherbe and Charonne Road, at 10 p.m. local time, witnesses reported seeing a man carrying a gun enter the La Belle Equipe café in the 11th arrondissement and fire shots before getting back into a car and fleeing.

Police, ambulances, and rescue teams immediately arrived at the scene. As of now, at least 100 people have died, dozens are in critical condition, and dozens more have been injured.

French President Francois Hollande convened an emergency meeting of ministers that very night. A hotline and a state of emergency were also established.

Reacting immediately upon receiving the news, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said she was deeply shocked "by the images and information from Paris," and also extended her condolences to the victims of the attacks, their families, and all the people of Paris.
