(Baonghean) - The Cua Corn tourist and service residential area project, located in Quynh Di ward, Hoang Mai town, invested by Long Thanh Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, has become operational and yielded clear results, creating a highlight in the socio-economic development of Hoang Mai town.

The passion of a son of the homeland

Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, former General Director of Lung Lo Construction Company (Ministry of National Defense), is a passionate businessman and veteran. After fulfilling his responsibilities entrusted to him by the Party, the State, and the military, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung decided to return and contribute his strength and intellect to his hometown of Hoang Mai.

Since 2004, he recognized that the Quynh Di area (Hoang Mai town) was still undeveloped but full of potential. The idea of transforming this barren, saltwater swamp and mangrove area along the Hoang Mai River into a convenient residential area with high functionality for the people began to take shape in Mr. Hung's mind. He then decided to invest and establish the "Cua Corn Tourism and Service Residential Area" project.

Initially, the project faced many difficulties, but with the dedication of the people of the homeland and all the staff and workers of Long Thanh Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, the project was soon completed with a total planned area of over 30 hectares, accommodating nearly 1,000 households currently under construction according to the design. This is a peaceful, modern residential area located in the heart of Hoang Mai town, with complete technical infrastructure, green parks, entertainment areas, hospitals, schools, supermarkets, parking lots, the Cờn Temple festival grounds, hotels, a stadium, etc.

To date, the Cua Corn Tourist and Service Residential Area Project has yielded practical results. In 2016, the project inaugurated a large-scale, modern sports and entertainment center with a total investment of over 30 billion VND; comprising 7 main facilities: 2 artificial turf football fields, 2 tennis courts, 2 swimming pools, 1 multi-purpose gymnasium, 1 children's playground, 1 gymnasium, and 1 cafe and karaoke service area. The establishment of this center not only serves the entertainment and sports needs of households within the project area but also serves the entire Hoang Mai town and Quynh Luu district; annually serving approximately 40,000-45,000 people. Activities at the swimming pools are particularly significant; in 2016 alone, they provided swimming services to over 40,000 people, and also offered swimming classes to train children in water safety skills.

Also last year, the project inaugurated Long Thanh Kindergarten, located on a 2,400m2 plot of land, comprising 20 rooms (15 classrooms and other functional rooms such as the principal's office, music and art room, computer room, medical room, etc.), with a total investment of 22.6 billion VND. It can serve 400-500 children in two age groups: 12 months to 36 months old; and 3-4 years old. The school has a classroom system that meets the standards set by the Ministry of Education and Training, warm in winter and cool in summer. Each classroom, over 100m2 in size, is equipped with ceiling fans, air conditioners, televisions, learning corners, play areas, etc.; balconies are planted with flowers and ornamental plants to create a cool and airy space for the children. In the 2016-2017 school year, Long Thanh Kindergarten had 14 qualified teachers and staff. The inauguration and commissioning of Long Thanh Kindergarten has met the needs for play and learning of children in Quynh Di ward in particular and Hoang Mai town in general.

Beyond just developing projects, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung also focused on preserving cultural identity and conserving historical relics (the Cua Corn Temple). He also collaborated with the leaders of Hoang Mai town and the Thang Long Institute of Cultural Research to organize the seminar "Preserving and Promoting the Cultural Value of the Cua Corn Temple Historical Relic" at the Temple of Literature in Hanoi. Following the seminar, the Cua Corn Temple Festival has since been recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hung, Director of Long Thanh Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company, shared: "The company's goal is to create a residential area with an advanced living environment, sustainable development, full public amenities, and a relaxing space."

It can be said that the Cua Corn tourist and service residential area is truly a desirable place to live, assessed by a renowned feng shui expert as an area of "auspicious energy and bright space". The project lives up to its goal of serving and benefiting everyone, and is a construction imbued with cultural, historical, and spiritual significance.
