Coach Kim Sang-sik has finalized the 23-player squad for the Vietnam U22 team at the 33rd SEA Games. Five players were dropped: Dinh Quang Kiet, Tran Thanh Trung, Nguyen Duc Viet, Le Van Ha, and Bui Vi Hao. These players were either out of form or lacked fitness after injuries. Doan Van Hau is close to making his return to the Hanoi Police team.
Doan Van Hau has traveled to Thailand with Hanoi Police FC to prepare for their match against Buriram United in the Shopee Cup, opening up an opportunity for his return after more than two years of injury treatment.
